Basil loves the sun. Find them a location where they can get enough sun, at least 6 - 8 hours of sunlight.
Space each Basil plant at least 12 - 18 inches apart from each other as they need enough space for their roots to grow.
Plant your basil babies near your tomatoes and chilis so they'll be able to grow better and more flavorful. Their smell will also help repel unwanted pests from your tomato and chili plants.
Water basil babies deeply daily. When kept outside, make sure to always keep soil moist.
HARVESTING AND PRUNING
You may start to harvest basil leaves when they are already 6-8 inches tall. Basil LOOOOOVES pruning so make sure you prune them often to avoid its stem to become woody.
